Small Steps with a Big God!

We are continually amazed by how God changes lives right before our eyes. Every day we see the work of the Holy Spirit as those we are blessed to minister to come to know the love of our Savior. We know that God’s grace is being poured out on The Joshua Project and we are so thankful that He will never leave us or forsake us.

Mariana (our little gypsy girl with the big heart) arrived on Monday at the Center wide eyed and excited by what she has been learning from God’s word. ‘’Andy did you know that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are three persons in one,’’ was her statement which lead to a great discussion on God’s love.

Panda (our little gypsy boy with a profanity problem) has been praying that God would help him control his tongue and bad language, he testified at the Friday service “I can’t believe how God has helped me control my words, it has amazed me. Also, I have stopped listening to my old music, now I only listen to Christian songs.”

They come from an orphanage….but every day they are taking Small steps with a Big God.

Update on Christmas Food Hampers: We are just so excited about the INCREDIBLE response we have received to the JP Christmas Food Hamper Project. We will be able to provide the 100 hampers and even a few extras, thanks to the generosity you have all shown. We can hardly wait to go purchase all of the items and begin deliveries next week. Praise the Lord that we get to see so many lives touched with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and give these precious gifts of love. We have been so blessed by your response, so keep giving and then so can WE.

A Note from The Joshua Project Team… As we look back over this year, it has been the most powerful year in the Joshua Project’s history! So many lives have been changed. Many new faces have come through the doors…receiving God’s love and hope for the future. Babies have been born and a multitude of new infections spread, but God has been so faithful through it all. We have rejoiced with those who have come to know the Living Savior, and we have wept with those left to mourn their loved ones. We have said goodbye for now to Mara, one of the first little ones we ever met with HIV, and now we say welcome to her two year old daughter. God has been faithful! But most of all He has been faithful by using each of you! Thank you to all who pray, who give, who come, who bring teams, who send packages, who find others to help because you are the miracle we see week in and week out that these precious ones don't see but feel the love across the miles. Bless you all and a Very Merry Christmas. May your New Year be LIFE CHANGING!

With Love and Prayers, Tresha, Andy, Claudia, and Tony
